Heritage Karalee Community Branch is delighted to continue its long-standing support of the Heritage Karalee – Ipswich100, and celebrate its first year as the major sponsor.
Heritage Karalee Community Branch is a joint venture between Heritage Bank and the local community, represented by the Community Capital Company (CCC). It was established in 2006 to give residents in the area easier access to local banking services, but with one main difference. As a community branch, CCC’s share of the branch profits is returned back into the community via a number of initiatives. So, the more people bank there, the more Heritage Karalee can give back to community!
Since opening, Heritage Karalee has injected over $8.5 million back into the community through grants, sponsorships, local employment and more.
Recent grants include:
- Moggill SES Support Association new multi-role emergency vehicle – $65,000
- 2023 Moggill Marathon – $10,000
- New Playground at Karalee Community Kindergarten – $7300
Over the years, these community grants have enabled local organisations to complete numerous essential projects that may have never been possible if it wasn’t for this mutually beneficial relationship between CCC and Heritage.
